Jeffery Martin Botzenhart was born in Warren, Ohio on November 9, 1967 as the third son to James and Mary Botzenhart. He grew up in a rural trailer park in Southington, Ohio. After graduating from Chalker High School in 1986, Jeffery attended Kent State University. In 1994 he graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in International Relations.
Jeffery is a single father of three adult sons, Dylan, Owen, and Ethan, and enjoys spending time and traveling with them.
Jeffery’s special interests include drawing and painting. Two of his paintings are on permanent display at the Girard, Ohio public library. Other interests include a passion for reading, his favorite authors being J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, and Arthur C. Clarke, and 1980’s rock music from Journey, Fleetwood Mac, the Motels, ect.
In October 2014 Jeffery Martin Botzenhart’s first book, entitled Clockwork Heart, was published by Luminosity Publishing. Since then, he has gone on to have published over 30 other short stories, novellas, and books with Luminosity Publishing, Beachwalk Press, Breaking Rules Publishing and Solstice Publishing.
